“How it works”
Eligibility– Very Simple, All Anglers who are B.A.S.S. Members in good standing with TBN. Dues are $50 total (BASS Nation $30 and TBN $20)
(except current B.A.S.S. Elite Anglers or equivalent anglers ((MLF BPT)) may not compete)
TBN Clubs – Made of Six or more anglers. Must be BASS Nation and TBN Members in good Standing. TBN Clubs operate under their own rules set by their club membership. Club tournaments are run under the “Club” guidelines. How a Club Operates is up to the Club. Club Dues if any are set by the club.
TBN Statewide Club (At Large Members) – This club is operated by the TBN President and Vice President for those anglers who are active anglers, but there is NOT an established club in their area OR anglers who are active in a TBN Program such as College or High School Anglers age of 16 or older and High School/Junior Boat Captains and there is NOT an established club in their area. No monthly meetings, there will be an annual ZOOM Meeting or Newsletter to inform anglers of yearly programs/announcements.
2206 TBN State Tournament, Winchester City Park, Tims Ford Lake 21/22 March 2026
This tournament is run by the TBN State President and Board of Directors, held in the spring of the year, rotating yearly between the 3 regions (East/West/Middle). This tournament is OPEN to all TBN Members in “Good Standing” within Tennessee BASS Nation, 30 days prior to the Tournament Registration Meeting. This Tournament is a “Draw Tournament” with a 100% entry payback, sponsor bonus money and seats to the Bassmaster B.A.S.S. Nation Championship, operated exactly the way B.A.S.S. operates the Bass Nation National Qualifiers/Regional Tournaments. Pairing and Boat numbers will be by random computer draw at the registration meeting. Entry fee is $100 per angler, 100% Payback

*TBN State Team Trail Qualifiers - This trail is a “Statewide Trail.” Minimum each Region hosts one – one day qualifier event, open to all TBN Members
***ALL Memberships and Dues are required to be paid in full by the first tournament, must be 16 Years of age or older within the competition year and have completed boater safety.
Teams that are not in good standing will not be allowed to compete.
Umbrella Rigs are ALLOWED
Teams/Boat must fish one tournament to qualify for State Team Championship
Teams/Boat may substitute an angler once, but sub angler must be in good standing with the original club and TBN
Tournament entry fees – $150 per boat
Guaranteed Payout on TOP of entry fee payout $2000 (*to start with may increase depending on sponsorship) First Place $1500 and Top Club $500
Tournament payout breakdown – 100 percent back to the anglers, $10 to Big Fish, $20 to Championship Fund, $120 paid at the ramp, 1 place for every 7 boats
1-7 Boats pays 1 place, 8-13 pays 2 places, 14-20 pays 3 Places, 21-27 pays 4 Places and so on….
Payout is in addition to any guaranteed payout
Top Club - awarded to the top Club by the combined overall points from the entire season, including the State Championship Tournament of the top 3 Boat teams of each Club.
Team of the Year – Solely based upon points from the trail highest points best 3 of 4 tournament plus the two-day State Team Championship (Which is Double Points)
Top Club for Non-Championship Tournaments- awarded to the top club by the combined overall weight of the top 3 Boat teams of each Club.
Qualifying for TBN State Team Championship:
The TBN State Team Championship: Angler must fish one of the four qualifying tournaments. State Team Championship Lake Select will remain as is rotating West, Central, East…
**TBN State Team Championship is run by the TBN State President and Board of Directors, held in the Fall of the year, rotating yearly between the 3 regions (East/West/Middle) and is a 100% or more entry payback with seats to the Bassmaster National Team Championship. This tournament is OPEN to all TBN Members in “Good Standing” within Tennessee BASS Nation and have competed in a “Qualifier Event” as outlined above. This Tournament is a “Team Tournament” two anglers per boat, boat numbers will be issued at the registration meeting by random computer draw.

The BASS Nation Series is $400 Boater and $200 Co-Angler, if you do the math at 200 boats total entries are $80,000 with a $67,475 payout for the boaters which is a 84% payback... Co-Angler 200 entries is $40,000 with $37,740 in payouts to the field at just about 92%....
2026 TBN State Tournament on Tims Ford Lake, 21/22 March 2026, Winchester City Park. (Boater/Co-Angler Draw...NO Boater on Boater Pairings, ALL boats will fish whether paired or not)
ALL Anglers MUST be Paid TBN Members (Club or TBN Statewide Members) no later than 15 Apr 2025 to be eligible to compete.
State Individual Tournament – Entry Fee is $100 per angler. 100% plus payout

TBD - normally first week pf December. 4-day tournament. First two day you fish as a team and last two days the Top 3 teams are split up and 6 individuals' fish head-to-head for the Last Seat to the Bassmaster Classic
So everyone has got the same information... This is straight from BASS...
If you fish one of the 2025 National Qualifiers/Regional Tournaments such as Pickwick Lake, 12-14 Mar 2025 and place in the Top 10 percent (max 20) either on the boater or co-angler you will be fishing the 2025 Bass National Championship on Upper Mississippi River, Lacross WI 22-25 Oct 2025!
To enter these tournaments, you must be a Bass Master Member, paid your Bass Nation Dues and a PAID TBN (or state you live in) Member... (TBN Members if you belonged to a club or Statewide at Large Club and be in good standing)
***Important Fact: If a person purchased a "Nation Membership" at the Classic... or is a College/High School Bass Nation Angler. That person MUST also join a TBN Adult club or the Statewide Club in order to fish the National Qualifiers/Regionals***

4 Boaters and 4 Co-anglers advance directly to the 2025 BASS Nation National Championship
10 Boater and 10 Co-Angler guaranteed entry seats to the Southern National Qualifier each year. Top 20 Boaters and Top 20 Co-Anglers from each National Qualifier advance to the BASS Nation Championship in the same year!
